COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- Each week during the 2018-19 season a Maryland student-athlete, who has shown excellence on and off the playing field, will be selected as the Solomon Eye Associates Terp of the Week. This week's Solomon Eye Associates Terp of the Week is Dashawn Morris of the track & field team.
Freshman Dashawn Morris did not disappoint in his first 400m race of the season. Morris won the event at the Vanderbilt Music City Challenge in a school record time of 46.92. Morris was also a member of the 4x400 relay squad that set another school record last weekend at Nebraska.
Morris and the Terps return to the track Feb. 22-23 as the team heads to the Big Ten Indoor Championships to conclude the indoor season.
