Men's Soccer Staff to Hold Open Practice for Coaches

COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The Maryland men's soccer program will host an open training session for local coaches in conjunction with the United Soccer Coaches' Open Training Week. The session will take place Wednesday, April 3 from 8:45 - 10:15 a.m. at the Varsity Practice Field.
United Soccer Coaches profiles the event as a nationwide initiative that provides an opportunity for coaches from all levels and backgrounds to experience new environments, observe high-level training sessions, and learn from one another. Men's and women's teams at the college and professional levels welcome local soccer coaches in their communities to attend a practice.
The Terrapins captured the programs fourth National Championship in 2018, winning six consecutive games by shutout in the NCAA Tournament. Head coach Sasho Cirovski was named Top Drawer Soccer's National Coach of the Year.
