MAINEVILLE, Ohio – Two competitors for the Maryland women's golf team are two strokes off the lead heading into the final round of the Big Ten Championships Sunday at TPC River's Bend.

Sophomore
Virunpat Olankitkunchai and junior
Xiaolin Tian are both one stroke over par and two strokes off the individual lead. Both shot a 73 in the first round Friday, then Saturday's second round was cancelled due to poor weather conditions.

Laura Van Respaille is five strokes over with a 77 and senior
Ludovica Farina is six strokes over. Senior
Ludovica Scandroglio and sophomore Charlotte Lafourade are each eight strokes over par with scores of 80.

As a team, the Terrapins are eighth out of 14 and just four strokes out of the top four.

Last year, the Terrapins had their best showing in program history in the Big Ten Championships placing second overall as a team.Â
Xiaolin Tian finished second for the Terps last year as an individual.
