Football Student-Athletes Set to Graduate This Week

COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- Seven University of Maryland football student-athletes are set to receive their degrees this week. Maryland Athletics will be hosting the University of Maryland Commencement Ceremonies on Friday, May 24th in the XFINITY Center.
Members from the team earning degrees included:
- TE Michael Cornwell - American Studies
- LB Isaiah Davis - Criminology and Criminal Justice
- TE Avery Edwards - Finance & Information Systems (double major)
- RB Jake Funk - Kinesiology
- LS Matt Oliveira - Finance
- DL Oseh Saine - American Studies
- DL Mbi Tanyi - Family Science
The campus-wide ceremony will begin at 1 p.m. on Friday, and the individual college and school ceremonies will occur at various times on May 22-24.
