
M Club Announces 2019-20 Executive Board

COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- The University of Maryland M Club has announced updates to its executive board for the 2019-20 season.
The M Club was founded in 1923 by a group of former University of Maryland athletes to encourage excellence in athletics. It is one of the oldest and most respected letterwinner clubs in the country with an organization of more than 4,500 former Maryland varsity athletes and a leader in the National Letter Winners Association.
Ed Bailor (Track & Field, '74) has been appointed the President of the M Club Executive Board. Bailor was a member of ACC Champion 2-mile relay team from 1973 which set a school and meet record at the time. Bailor has served on the M Club Board for over 25 years and has been a part of both the Hall of Fame selection and planning committee.
Angela Perry (Football, '86) has been named the President-Elect of the M Club Executive Board. Perry served as a student manager for the football team from 1982-86. Perry previously served as M Club Board Secretary and has managed the M Club website and social media since 2015.
Regis Whittington (Football, '13) will serve as the vice president of the M Club Executive Board. Whittington was a wide receiver on the football team from 2011-13. He has served on the M Club Board for three years and has played a crucial role in engaging younger football alumni and assisting in membership initiatives.
Marshall Fesche (Men's Lacrosse, Swimming & Diving, '67) has been appointed treasurer of the M Club Executive Board. Fesche played for the lacrosse team from 1964-66 and was also a member of the swimming & diving team. Fesche served on the M Club board since 1981, serving as president in 1985-86 and has been the M Club's treasurer since 1997.
Keith Barrack (Fencing, '78) has been named the secretary of the M Club Executive Board. Barrack has served on the M Club Board for the last three years and has been an active volunteer for the Board.
The M Club goals are to help achieve the very best overall academic and athletic program for all the varsity teams, to aid the athletes in making positive contributions to the community, to obtain and maintain funds for awards and scholarships and to cultivate networking, social contact and good sportsmanship among the wearers of the "M."
