
Terps Drop B1G Opener to No. 12 Penn State

The game was played in front of 53,228 fans, the sixth largest crowd in Maryland Stadium history and the largest crowd since 2011 when the Terps hosted West Virginia.
Maryland falls to 2-2 overall and 0-1 in Big Ten play, while the Nittany Lions remain undefeated at 4-0 overall and 1-0 in conference play.
Senior Antoine Brooks Jr. led the Terps six solo tackles, two tackles for loss and a pair of pass break-ups. Freshman defensive back Nick Cross recorded the first interception of his career in the game.
Maryland will play its first confernce road game of 2019 next Saturday when the Terps travel to Rutgers for a noon kick on BTN.
