#20 Terrapins to Host Huskers Thursday

COLLEGE PARK, Md.  –  No. 20 Maryland (12-4, 3-2 B1G) will play host to Nebraska (13-2, 3-1) Thursday at 8 p.m. at the XFINITY Center. For tickets, click here.
 
Thursday is Sara Vujacic Bobblehead Night. All fans in attendance will receive a scratch-off ticket upon entry into the arena and 400 lucky fans will take home a Sara Vujacic bobblehead.
 
Participants in Maryland Women's Basketball summer camps may claim a free youth ticket to the game. All Terrapin Club donors at the Bronze ($55 annual donation) level and above will receive up to four complimentary tickets to the game.
 
The Maryland-Nebraska game will be televised on the Big Ten Network. Fans can watch online at FoxSports.com using their cable login information. Live stats will be available here. The Terps-Huskers matchup will also be broadcast on the Maryland Sports Radio Network. Fans can listen in here or at 1300 AM (Baltimore), The Team 980 (DC) and WARK 1490 (Hagerstown).
 
Sunday's matchup is the 12th all-time between Maryland and Nebraska. Maryland owns the series at 11-0. The Terps took both meetings last year, 81-63 in Lincoln on Jan. 8 and 89-63 in College Park on Feb. 14.
 
Last time out, the Terrapins dominated No. 24 Michigan, 77-49, Sunday in Ann Arbor. Blair Watson hit six three-pointers to lead the Terps with 20 points. Ashley Owusu scored 18 points with six assists and Diamond Miller scored 15 points. The Terrapins forced 22 Wolverine turnovers and held them to 34 percent shooting.
 
The Terrapins are No. 2 in the country in steals (13.9). They are in the top 10 in the nation in scoring margin (+26.4), turnover margin (+8.3), offensive rebounds (16.9) and scoring (81.6). Charles leads the Big Ten and is 12th in the country in offensive rebounds (4.4). Watson is second in the league and 14th in the nation in steals (3.4).
 
Kaila Charles currently has 826 career rebounds. She passed Alicia DeVaughn (2011-14) to move to No. 10 on the Terps' all-time list. She is one of just six Terrapins to be in the top 10 in scoring and rebounds, joining Alyssa Thomas, Brionna Jones, Marissa Coleman, Vicky Bullett and Crystal Langhorne. Blair Watson has made 179 career threes. She recently moved to fourth on Maryland's all-time list and is seven threes from tying Kristen Confroy at No. 3.
 
Charles has started in all 119 games of her career. She has a chance to break Alyssa Thomas' record of 135 career games started. Her 119 career games started are tied with Shay Doron for sixth in Maryland's record book.
 
After Thursday's game, the Terps will take on No. 15/16 Indiana (14-3, 4-1) Monday at 8 p.m. in College Park. Monday's game is Blair Watson Bobblehead Night. All fans in attendance will receive a scratch-off ticket upon entry into the arena and 400 lucky fans will take home a Blair Watson bobblehead.
