Get to Know: Darryl Jones

Wide receiver Darryl Jones enters his junior season with 24 games and eight starts under his belt, having accumulated 305 yards receiving over his first two years. Jones is part of a stacked receiving group this season which is led by himself and fellow juniors Dontay Demus Jr. and Brian Cobbs.. UMTerps.com caught up with Jones as he prepares for the 2020 season.

What is your favorite part about Maryland?

I love all of the people around here. Just the guys on the team. That and the proximity to Washington D.C.

What is your favorite part of gameday?

Walking off the bus and into the stadium and getting the vibe of gameday and just knowing what we're about to do.

What are the last thoughts going through your head as you're about to run out of the tunnel?

Just making sure we're going to look good on TV. Also pumping myself up because I know I'm about to go do something big.

Best place to eat in College Park?

Nandos. Their chicken with the Nandos sauce is really good.

Cook or Clean?

Clean. I can cook but cleaning is faster and you don't have to wait around

Snapchat.

Late to bed or early to rise?

Late to bed. I just sit on my phone and get in rabbit holes.

Bucket list sporting event to attend?

A NBA game

Ultimate football goal?

My ultimate goal would be too make the hall of fame but I have to get to the combine and make the league first.
