Receptions, receiving yards and interceptions. Three of the NFL's most important statistical categories. Three statistical categories that have Terps as its leaders. Stefon Diggs leads all wide receivers with 63 receptions for 813 yards and JC Jackson leads the NFL with five interceptions through nine weeks of play.
More on Stefon & JC's games, a nice night for Darnell Savage Jr. and a season-high for Jermaine Carter Jr. in Week Nine of Terps in the NFL:
Stefon Diggs
The Bills offense broke out in a 44-34 win over the Seattle Seahawks and of course WR Stefon Diggs was front and center in all the action, tallying nine receptions for 118 yards.
First in receptions. First in yards.
Stef brought it on the field and with his cleat game.
JC Jackson
Another week, another interception for JC Jackson. Jackson picked off New York Jets QB Joe Flacco in a key moment in the fourth quarter to give the Patriots the ball back down seven, where they would go on to tie the game.
Mr. INT:
Jackson is now the sole league leader in interceptions with five, and has had one in four straight games.
JC called his shot on Instagram and was proven right.
Darnell Savage Jr.
Another Terp that played on primetime, Packers S Darnell Savage Jr. helped lead Green Bay to a 34-17 win over San Francisco on Thursday night.
Jermaine Carter Jr.
Panthers LB Jermaine Carter posted a season-best four tackles (two solo) in a close loss to Kansas City, earning praise from his coach.
Carter made teammate and Penn State alum Yetur Gross-Matos wear Maryland gear in the Panthers locker room after the Terps beat Penn State Saturday.
