ROSEMONT, Ill. – The 12^th-ranked Maryland women's basketball team's 2020-21 schedule was announced Monday by the Big Ten Conference.
 
The schedule includes home-and-home league matchups against No. 20 Ohio State, Rutgers, Michigan State, Minnesota, Purdue, Wisconsin and Penn State. Maryland is slated for single matchups against No. 16 Indiana, No. 17 Northwestern, No. 25 Michigan, Iowa, Illinois and Nebraska.

The Terrapins won last year's Big Ten title and Tournament titles. They won 17 straight games to end the season, culminating with an 82-65 win over Ohio State in the Big Ten Championship game. Since joining the Big Ten in 2014-15, the Terrapins are 108-14 (.885)  and 48-4 (.923) at home vs. their conference opponents.

 Maryland will open its 2020-21 season with three games in bdG Sports' #BeachBubble at the Gulf Coast Showcase Thanksgiving weekend in Estero, Fla. at FGCU's Alico Arena.
 
The Terps will take on Davidson Friday at 2:30 p.m., then No. 24 Missouri State Saturday at 5:30 p.m. and No. 14 Arkansas Sunday at 5:30 p.m. All three games will be available live and on-demand on FloHoops.com.
 
The Terrapins will host Towson on Thursday, Dec. 3 at the XFINITY Center. Maryland will welcome back 2006 National Champion Laura Harper and Coppin State for a matchup on Saturday, Dec. 5. The Terps will host Mount St. Mary's in College Park on Tuesday, Dec. 8.
 
The season will begin with no fans in attendance at XFINITY Center out of an abundance of caution for the health and safety of our student-athletes and fans. Maryland athletics is hopeful that some fans will be welcomed to XFINITY Center as the season progresses and health conditions permit. 
 
As a result, Maryland is proud to announce a new initiative called the Maryland Basketball Virtual Sellout, which will give fans the opportunity to purchase a seat, row, section or courtside seat at XFINITY Center while providing exclusive commemorative items and access. The goal is to sell all 17,950 seats at XFINITY Center.
 
Virtual ticket options range from $10 to $1,000. There is also an option to purchase the opportunity to have "XFINITY Center To Yourself" for $17,950 and watch an away basketball game this season with up to 10 friends and/or family members.
