
Olankitkunchai leads Terps Through 36 in Puerto Rico

RIO GRANDE, P.R. – Junior Virunpat Olankitkunchai is two strokes over par total to lead Maryland through two rounds in the Lady Puerto Rico Classic.
Olankitkunchai is tied for 17th in the individual standings. She shot a 77 in Sunday's first round, then improved her score by eight strokes to shoot a 69 Monday.
Senior Xiaolin Tian tied seven over with her score of 151 (78-73). She is tied for 45th. Junior Laura Van Respaille is +9 with a score of 154 (80-74) and freshman Maria Vittoria Corbi is +16 with a score of 160 (79-81).
Sophomore Elena Verticchio owns a score of 163 (83-80).
The Maryland women's golf team will compete at The Lady Puerto Rico Classic Sunday through Tuesday at the Rio Mar Country Club, River Course in Rio Grande P.R.
The final round will start at 6:30 a.m. ET with a shotgun start. Live scoring will be available here.
The Terrapins are competing against Augusta, East Carolina, No. 38 Georgia, Indiana, No. 40 Iowa State, No. 21 Kentucky, NC State, Nebraska, Northwestern, No.15 Oklahoma State, TCU, No. 26 Texas Tech, No. 22 Virginia Tech, and tournament host, Purdue.
