"You see all the weapons we have with our inside-outside game," head coach
Brenda Frese said. "It makes it easier for us on the offensive end when we can flow inside, but then have really easy kicks to the perimeter for our great shooters. It just makes us dangerous with who you're going to help off of or who you're going to defend. That's where you want to be when you're building toward March."
The Terrapins forced 24 Badger turnovers, including 17 in the first half. They scored 33 points off them and outscored Wisconsin (11-16, 3-13) by 36 in the paint.
Maryland is now 8-0 all-time vs. Wisconsin and 4-0 at the Kohl Center.
The Terrapins have nine wins over RPI top 50 teams and six over teams ranked in the AP Top 25. In the win streak, the Terps are winning by an average margin of victory of +24.0.
Jones was named Big Ten Player of the Week Monday for her first career weekly honor. She led the Terrapins with 18.5 points, 8.5 rebounds and shot 89.5 percent from the field on the week (17-for-19).
