COLLEGE PARK, Md.-- The Maryland women's tennis team fell to William & Mary 4-2 on Sunday.

The Terps stay at home to take on George Washington on Saturday, March 15 at noon in the JTCC.

- Maryland took the doubles point against the Tribe to start the day off strong.
- All three doubes teams were up in their respective matches when the Terps took the point.
- Alexandrova moves to 8-0 in singles play for the season.
- DOUBLES
- No. 1: Freshman Ayana Akli and senior Kate Yemelyanenka defeated Victoria Okuyama and Mila Saric 6-2.
- No. 3: Junior Chloe Hamlin and senior Saya Usui defeated Elisa Van Meeteren and Raffaela Alhach 6-4
- Alexandrova and junior Zoe Kulkarni were up 5-4 at the time the Terps took the point.
- SINGLES
- Alexandrova (8-0) defeated Rosie Cheng 6-1, 6-2 in straight sets at the No. 2 spot.
- The Terps gave valiant efforts but fell to William & Mary in the remaining singles spots
