Why Maryland?
Joseph: They provide a great education that helps students become successful. The sports here are also very competitive.
Alice: I feel that I belong and everyone was super welcoming when I transferred to Maryland.
What do you want your legacy to be?
Joseph: I want to be remembered by my peers and become the person that the future generation wants to be better than.
Alice: That I set an example on and off the track all the time.
Favorite track/field event
Joseph: 4x100m relay, it's exciting to run and watch. This event has fast paced teamwork that either pays off or fails.
Alice: Hammer, because I throw it and it's fun!

Biggest Motivation
Joseph: My future self is my biggest motivation.
Alice: I am motivated by a variety of people, depending on the aspect of my life. For throwing, I am motivated by a variety of different hammer throwers, all for different reasons.
