Lots of action for rookie RB
Anthony McFarland Jr., strong performances in victories from JC Jackson and Darnell Savage Jr. and another touchdown for Stefon Diggs highlights Week Three of Terps in the NFL.
Check out our recap all the action:
Steelers rookie RB
Anthony McFarland Jr. was worked into the gameplan out of the backfield in the Steelers 28-21 win over the Houston Texans. The Steelers fed AntMac early, giving him touches on the first drive.
McFarland ended his first meaningful NFL game with six carries for 42 yards including a 20-yard spurt.
The rookie got rave reviews from his coach Mike Tomlin, saying McFarland "He has merited more playing time. He's had some really good practices."
Even though he got to live out his childhood dream Sunday afternoon, getting carries in a NFL game, all McFarland cared about was that his team got the dub:
His first big NFL game is just the beginning of McFarland's NFL story.
JC Jackson
Patriots CB helped keep what has been an explosive Las Vegas Raiders offense at bay in New England's 36-20 win. Jackson totaled six solo tackles and a huge fumble recovery early in the game to force a turnover when Las Vegas was in the red zone.
Darnell Savage Jr.
Packers S Darnell Savage Jr. was all around the line of scrimmage in Green Bay's 43-34 upset win over the New Orleans Saints. Savage recorded a season high seven tackles (five solo) to help his team move to 3-0.
Savage's play earned the praises of Sunday Night Football commentator Cris Collinsworth.
Stefon Diggs
WR Stefon Diggs and his Buffalo Bills improved to 3-0 on Sunday as Diggs hauled in a touchdown for the second-straight game to put Western New York's team up 28-3 in the second quarter.
Wide Receiver or Punter? Diggs showed off his leg after scoring his tuddy.
Stef is HYPE to be off to a 3-0 start.
