Cadar faced fellow Terp Marta Perez Mur, ultimately coming out victorious 6-4, 6-1 to take the singles title.
After a round one bye, Perez Mur defeated Themis Haliou of Towson in a quick two 6-1, 6-1 to get things going for Maryland, putting herself in the semis against fellow Terp Minorka Miranda. Miranda found herself in the semis with victories over Julianne Bou of UConn (6-2, 5-7, 13-11) and fourth-seeded Jillian Taggart (6-2, 7-6(5)).
