Tagovailoa Named Manning Award Star of the Week

NEW ORLEANS, La. – University of Maryland quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa is one of eight quarterbacks nationally to be named Manning Award Stars of the Week, it was announced on Monday.
Tagovailoa completed 21 of 30 passes for 312 yards and accounted for four touchdowns (3 passing, 1 rushing) in Maryland's 40-16 win at Rutgers this past Saturday. In the game, Tagovailoa broke the Maryland single-season passing yardage record as he ends the regular season with 3,595 passing yards.
Tagovailoa posted his seventh 300-yard passing game of the season in the win, setting a new Maryland record for most 300-yard passing games in a season. He has thrown a touchdown pass in 15 consecutive games.
