NEW YORK, N.Y. -- The Maryland football team arrived in New York City on Saturday and have begun preparation for the New Era Pinstripe Bowl. In between practices, the Terps have been able to enjoy the bowl week and all the festivities that surround it.
After arriving in New York City on Christmas evening, the team celebrated Coach Locksley's birthday with a special program at the New York Hilton Midtown.
Sunday featured the team's first bowl practice at Fordham University. The players then enjoyed a comedy show at Lincoln Center, while coaches and staff were able to take in the sights of Yankee Stadium at the New Era Pinstripe Bowl Welcome Reception.

The team had its final practice at Fordham on Monday afternoon and then enjoyed dinner at Ray's Famous Pizza and a shopping experience at Harman NYC Store.
The entire team will head to Yankee Stadium on Tuesday for a final walk-through before Wednesday's game. After the walk-through, the team took a team photo and toured Yankee Stadium and select players will take part in a virtual bell ringing at the New York Stock Exchange.

The Terrapins will take on Virginia Tech on Wednesday in the New Era Pinstripe Bowl. Kickoff is set for 2:15 p.m. and the game will be broadcast on ESPN, ESPN Radio and the Maryland Sports Radio Network.
