COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The No. 23 Maryland men's soccer team will host Ohio State in the Terps home opener Saturday. The match will take place at Ludwig Field and is scheduled to kickoff at 2 p.m. The match will be streamed on Big Ten Network+

Maryland is 8-1-0 against Ohio State all-time and 6-1-0 over the Buckeyes since joining the Big Ten. Ohio State enters Saturday's match with an 0-1-0 record after a 3-0 defeat to reigning Big Ten Champion Indiana.

Four of Maryland's freshmen played big roles in the opener against Penn State. Jacen Russell-Rowe and Joe Suchecki both scored goals, while Ben Bender was a big aspect of the Terps attack. After giving up three goals in the first half, Jamie Lowell grew into the match between the sticks.

Senior Ben Di Rosa will make his final appearance in a Terrapin uniform this weekend. Di Rosa, who was drafted in the second round of the MLS SuperDraft by New York City FC, was able to play the first two matches before he heads to join NYCFC. It will mark the end of a great career for Di Rosa, who was a 2018 NCAA College Cup All-Tournament Team selection when the Terps captured the 2018 national title.
