Maryland at NCAA Regionals

COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The Maryland gymnastics team will travel to Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Thursday, April 1 to compete in the NCAA Tuscaloosa Regional, hosted by the University of Alabama.
The meet will begin at 4 pm ET on Thursday and 8 pm ET Friday. The meet will be broadcast on ESPN3 on both
Day 1 and
Day 2.Â

The run down
Maryland, with a Regional qualifying score of 195.913, will compete against Eastern Michigan on Thursday. If the Terps advance to Friday's competition, they will face No. 2 Oklahoma (RQS 197.944), No. 15 Auburn (RQS 196.875), No. 23 Missouri (RQS 196.444) in session II.
If the Terrapins earn a lower score than Eastern Michigan in Thrusday's meet, Audrey Barber, Collea Burgess, Reese McClure and Alexsis Rubio will all advance as individual competitors to Friday's evening session.Â
Alabama, Arkansas, Iowa and Iowa State will also compete in the Tuscaloosa region.
The top-two teams in each session will move onto the Regional Finals slated to take place April 3. The top-two teams from the final will move onto the NCAA Championships in For Worth, Texas April 16-17..
