COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland men's soccer team faces Rutgers in the quarterfinals of the Big Ten Tournament Saturday afternoon at Ludwig Field. The Terrapins are the No. 4 seed in the tournament while the Scarlet Knights are the No. 5 seed. The match will kickoff at 1 p.m., and be shown on Big Ten Network+

The Terps are looking to capture their 10th conference tournament title. Maryland has won three Big Ten Tournaments since entering the conference, but have not lifted the trophy since 2016, which was the last in a stretch of five straight conference tournament championships between the Big Ten and ACC.

Four Terps were selected for All-Big Ten honors, accounced this week. Paul Bin, Brett St. Martin and Ben Bender were all placed on the All-Big Ten Second Team. Bender and Jacen Russell-Rowe were named to the All-Big Ten Freshman Team. Mike Heitzmann was honored as the Terps' Big Ten Sportsmanship Award honoree.

Sasho Cirovski, one of the most decorated coaches in college soccer history, won his 400th match at Maryland when the Terps defeated Michigan on March 11. Cirovski currently has 428 wins all-time, the sixth-most among active coaches. With 402 wins at Maryland, Cirovski is one of just six coaches in history with 400 wins at one Division I school.
