COLLEGE PARK, Md. – Each week during the 2020-21 season a Maryland student-athlete, who has shown excellence on and off the playing field, will be selected as the Solomon Eye Associates Terp of the Week. This week's Solomon Eye Associates Terp of the Week is senior Jared Bernhardt from men's lacrosse.

Bernhardt was named the Big Ten Tournament MVP after totaling 13 points on 10 goals and three assists in wins over Michigan and Johns Hopkins.

Bernhardt became the program's all-time points leader with his first assist of the game in a 10-point outing against the Wolverines. The Longwood, Fla. native tallied a career-high 10 points and a career-best eight goals and two assists in the victory.

Bernhardt would go on to set the single season goals record for the Terps in the team's win over the Blue Jays, as the attackman now sits with 53 goals in 12 goals in 2021.  

Maryland will face Vermont this Sunday, May 16 in the First Round of the 2021 NCAA Tournament.
