Riley Donnelly earned All-America honors from the National Field Hockey Coaches Association Tuesday.

Donnelly was named to the Second Team and DeBerdine was named to the Third Team. This is the first All-American honor for DeBerdine and for Donnelly, who were both earned NFHCA All-Mid Atlantic Region First Team honors and All-Big Ten First team honors.

DeBerdine has started in 80 games of her career. She was voted as the Terrapins' team captain this season. She was named to the Big Ten Players to Watch List at the start of the season. She was named to the 2017 NCAA All-Tournament Team and three times earned NFHCA All-Region honors.Â

Donnelly was Maryland's leading scorer with six goals this season. She also notched three assists and is a key anchor to the Terps' backline. She was named Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week on March 8 and Defensive Player of the Week on March 22. This is Donnelly's first All-Big Ten honor as well.
