COLLEGE PARK, MD -- The 2021 Maryland field hockey squad will host local club team the DC Dragons Friday night in an exhibition match at the Field Hockey & Lacrosse Complex. The Terps and the Dragons will start at 7 p.m.

Admission is free for fans planning to attend. Parking is free after 4 p.m. Friday. For Maryland Athletics' current COVID-19 guidelines for fans, click here. 

The Terrapins return 18 letterwinners from their 2020-21 squad, including All-Americans Brooke DeBerdine and Riley Donnelly. The Terps welcome five newcomers - Carly Hynd, Paige Kieft, Kylee Niswonger and US National Team players Julianna Tornetta and Hope Rose.

Maryland will officially open its 2021 season Friday, Aug. 27 with a 3 p.m. match vs. UMass-Lowell at the Field Hockey & Lacrosse Complex. Admission is free.
