PHILADELPHIA – The Maryland volleyball won its first match away from home this season as they blanked LIU 3-0 on Friday afternoon in their first match of the day at the Cherry and White Challenge in Philadelphia.
The Terps were in control every step of the way and were never in any danger of dropping any of the three sets. Led by recent Maryland Invite MVP and current Terp of the Week
Sam Csire's team-high in kills, Maryland remains undefeated and hasn't dropped a set since the opening set of the season.
First Set Prowess

The Terps came out strong in the first set of the day with a 7-1 start followed up by a 20-12 advantage later in the set.

Maryland was led by Rainelle Jones and Laila Ricks who each contributed four kills as well as Sydney Dowler with 15 assists.

Graduate transfer Paula Neciporuka ended the set at 25-18 with a thunderous kill from the left side.
