
Maryland to Compete in ITA Atlantic Region Championships

ANNAPOLIS, MD - The Maryland women's tennis team is set to head to the state capitol to compete in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Regional Championship in Annapolis, hosted by Navy.
Competition will take place Friday, Oct. 1 through Sunday, Oct. 3. The Terps will face local foes in Navy, George Mason, George Washington, Howard, Towson, and Delaware, along with Big Ten rival Penn State. The competition will be held at the Brigade Sports Complex outdoor courts, along with the Dahlgren Hall outdoor courts. Matches will start each day at 9 a.m. Doubles competition will play up to the semifinal round, while singles will compete up to the quarterfinal round.
