Wendell (DJ) Alston Jr. served as an Orientation Advisor, Resident Assistant, President of the Black Student Union, Director of Intake for Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc- Iota Zeta Chapter, TA for UNIV100 and STEP mentor for Incoming Athletes while on campus. Today, he continues to give back and support organizations such as Nyumburu, NPHC, and the Smith School of Business as a member of the Alumni Association and he works as a Business Development Manager for E&J Gallo Winery and has launched his own "WineWithDeej" experience where he hosts private events linking wine with the culture in an unconventional yet educational way.

Breana Bacon is a Prince George's County, MD native, was part of National Association of Black Journalists, the Kappa Phi chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and the Black Explosion Newspaper. Currently, Bacon works as a Business Intelligence Analyst for Methods + Mastery, working in analytics and storytelling for clients like Google and IBM. In her current role, Bacon was described as a "change maker" in the workplace by leading and planning several Diversity and Inclusion efforts as well as leading the agency's annual service project.

Jaclyn Baker graduated from the University of Maryland with a double degree in Computer Science and Mathematics and was a captain of the Maryland Dance Team. Baker is now employed by the U.S. Air Force and manages the Flight Simulators for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Program, which ensures U.S. and International pilots receive the training that they need to safely conduct their missions. She currently oversees a $600M per year portfolio of over 150 simulators across the globe. In addition to her career, Baker was a professional dancer for the Washington Wizards for three seasons and is currently the assistant coach of the University of Maryland Dance Team.

Jarred Belman is the Assistant Director of Video Production for Maryland Athletics, working as the primary video content creator for the Women's Basketball team. In his role, Belman storyboards, shoots and edits all video content for social media platforms, in-venue and website distribution for the team. Brenda Frese's record-breaking 500th win at Maryland, the team's Big Ten Tournament championship and it's run to the Sweet Sixteen in 2021. A 2019 graduate from the Philip Merrill College of Journalism, Jarred grew up in Baltimore, Maryland and is a lifelong Terp.

Cristina Camacho graduated from the University of Maryland with a B.A. in Dance and Kinesiology, a degree she puts to use as a professional dancer and arts advocate. Thanks to the experience she gained as a principal member of Dynamic Dance Team and in the TDPS department at UMD, Camacho's resume boasts a number of national live and televised concerts, including the MTV VMAs. Her values in community and cultural exchange inspire her current efforts as a dance educator and in arts advocacy at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts.

Crawford pursues and creates social change through fearless ideas, rooted in equity and accessibility, and embodies the values of the University of Maryland. Kimberly maintains her connection to Maryland, attending events on campus and supporting Maryland teams.

Leo Dassa is a Cybersecurity professional working in Enterprise Sales. Part time, he holds his Massachusetts Real Estate License and has a sales consulting business, YAD Consulting. During his time at the University of Maryland, Dassa held various internships ranging from the Office of Inspector General, Maryland Athletics Public Relations Department, Viener Consulting, Kinetics Marketing and many others. At Maryland, Dassa holds a negotiations seminar each semester for his favorite undergraduate class and instructor, Professor Edelstein, who teaches negotiations. Living in Boston, Dassa embodies being a Terp in honor of his brother who fought stage 4 cancer, by volunteering his time at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Dassa graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication.

Faith Deredge graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice & Criminology and Sociology. She went on to earn her J.D. from Temple University's James E. Beasley School of Law in 2019. Deredge currently serves as an attorney at Ashcraft & Gerel, representing personal injury victims throughout the state of Maryland. While at Maryland, Faith was active in the Terp community as a member of the Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., Phi Alpha Delta, the Black Students Association and the National Pan-Hellenic Council. Deredge's mission is to connect with minority undergraduate students who are interested in pursuing a career in law in order to help them navigate through the law school admission process and mentor them throughout their legal journey.

Shelton Eley served four years as student manager for Maryland Football where he made a name for himself assisting in recruiting operations. Post graduation, Eley continued his work with the football team and was promoted to Coordinator of On-Campus Recruiting. In this role, he organizes and executes all recruiting visits and events while fostering strong relationships with prospective athletes and their families. Beyond the University of Maryland, Eley is co-advisor for his undergraduate chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc., the Theta Theta Chapter. He has been faithful to many youth and family development organizations in the DMV and his passion for mentorship motivated him to launch his own non-profit named Kindred Legacy, Inc – focusing on advancing future generations through education, advocacy, and action.

Dr. Elizabeth Fadoju is a Banneker/Key full scholarship recipient whose leadership experiences as President of her sorority (Alpha Kappa Alpha), and Vice President of the African Student Association gave her the foundation to excel at Columbia University where she earned a Masters while attending Dental School. Dr. Fadoju is proud to serve her country as a Dental Officer in the U.S. Navy, a role that has allowed her to provide care to sailors and marines around the world, including while deployed to the fifth fleet as the Dental Division Officer on the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower. She currently works at the Bureau of Medicine and Surgery and sees patients at Primary Care Dentistry Walter Reed in Bethesda, MD.

Zaria Fyffe graduated from the University of Maryland in 2019 and then spent a year post-graduation working with patients in a physical therapy center. Fyffe has also served in a public health role with the National Academies of Sciences, where she focused on several major initiatives, including working on rapid studies to provide the President with the rapidly evolving information on COVID-19. Fyffe has been able to give back to the university by helping recent graduates land careers post-graduation in public health. Within the community, she participates in service projects and also launched her brand, Cresetta, as a way to be inclusive to women in the genre of loungewear. The brand helps women elevate their style and feel confident in their bodies by creating designs for all shapes and sizes.

Stephanie Gaither graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Politics. Upon graduating, she joined The White House under President Obama to support innovation in government efforts through the end of the Administration. After spending a number of years in tech and consulting, she now works at Guild Education, an ed-tech start-up, where she leads strategy projects that help senior leaders make thoughtful decisions about the future of the company. Outside of her full-time job, Gaither is also an investor and advisor to multiple start-ups and is focused on helping underrepresented entrepreneurs raise the capital they need to scale their business.

While pursuing her degree in College Park, Mary Glynn was a member of the Honors College and Phi Beta Kappa, held positions in her sorority Delta Gamma, and cheered on her fellow Terps in various athletic programs. After graduating with a B.S. in Elementary Education, Glynn taught bilingual education in Spain for two years before moving back to Maryland where she currently teaches second grade. She loves sharing her Maryland pride with her students and bringing joy and an excitement for learning into her classroom.

Jill Goldstein graduated from Maryland in 2016 and started working for the university's Electrical Engineering department after graduation. In her current role as the Coordinator for the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, she helps oversee all of their co-curricular programs. Goldstein's knowledge of the undergraduate experience has helped shape the department's approach to student interactions, and has been a voice for the students when policy or procedural changes are on the table. While at Maryland, Goldstein served as the Program Director of the campus radio station WMUC. She also earned her Masters of Strategic Communications in 2021.

Phil Gross is currently a Neuroscience PhD candidate at Georgetown University, where he studies neuroimmune mechanisms of neurodegeneration. Specifically, his research looks at the role of aging cells in the autoimmune disease Multiple Sclerosis. His research aims to discover novel therapeutics that selectively eliminate aging "senescent" cells and restore the central nervous system's homeostasis. During his time at Maryland, Gross was an undergraduate research assistant, lifeguard, and academic chair for the Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity. Still in the area, he often goes to Terp football and basketball games with his fellow-alumni father and brother.

Camille Hayslett currently works at the Food and Drug Administration – Center for Tobacco Products (CTP) where she combats the youth vaping epidemic through crosscutting accomplishments and significant contributions that have helped the center fulfill its mission of protecting and promoting public health. In her free time, she enjoys teaching elementary students piano lessons, tutoring youth in public speaking, and serving as a Strengthening Families Consultant in Anne Arundel County for youth who are at-risk for substance abuse. Hayslett graduated from the University of Maryland's School of Public Health in 2014 where she was an active member of Toastmasters International, NAACP, and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

Healy has participated in numerous high-profile patent infringement cases and has served as a consultant on many aspects of cases from damages analysis and modeling to trial preparations. Healy's experience includes financial consulting and damage quantification consulting services to clients in the context of litigation, intellectual property valuations, financial reporting, and financial transformations. Healy is an avid fan of Maryland Athletics and has been attending Maryland sporting events since he was three years old.

Alex Kalter started out as an intern for Alliant Staffing during his senior year at the University of Maryland. That internship turned into a full-time job offer as a healthcare recruiter and he has now been with Nurses PRN, formerly Alliant Staffing, for more than five years. Kalter is now the Vice President of Account Management and manages a team of 11 people. Kalter's team has played a major part in keeping hospitals throughout the country staffed during the pandemic and he is proud to work for such an outstanding company with great core values. During his free time, Kalter enjoys visiting College Park for tailgates, football and basketball games!

RJ Kaminski, a 2017 Broadcast Journalism major, now serves as the host and head of brand for the Premier Lacrosse League. Kaminski's contagious energy and excitement on camera is showcased loud and clear through his recurring YouTube vlogs – a content series with a goal to entertain, have fun with players and fans and attract new lacrosse fans to the league. He's been an instrumental part of the upstart league's success and has his sights set on continuing to take the pro game to the next level, one piece of media at a time.

Ashley Kavanagh has worked in collegiate athletics since graduating in 2018, and currently works for LEARFIELD as a Manager of Business Development selling integrated corporate sponsorship packages and leading partnership contract fulfillment. Kavanagh was a Maryland Athletics intern and served on the executive team of the Delta Phi Epsilon sorority while in undergrad and, despite living out of state, has stayed active in both organizations upon graduation. She also spends her time volunteering with Dream on 3, a nonprofit dedicated to making sports wishes coming true for children with life-altering conditions.

Dr. Akshay Kolluri is a Pediatric Dental resident at NYU Langone Health in Princess Anne, Maryland. While at the University of Maryland, Kolluri was the President of the Pre-Dental Society and a member of the Sigma Nu Fraternity. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry in 2014. Following this, he moved on to Howard University College of Dentistry where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery. He began his residency training at the University of Rochester where he completed his General Practice Residency before pursuing a specialty in Pediatrics at NYU Langone. Kolluri has always had an ardent desire to work with under-served and under-provided populations to aid in the equalizing of healthcare access. His career aspirations are to become a clinician-scientist and work towards bridging the healthcare gap for areas and populations that do not have access to care.

Alexandra Maye is a registered nurse, motivational speaker, and nurse leader caring for the most critical patients in the cardiac catheterization laboratory (Cath Lab). Inspired to pursue nursing during her senior year public health course, she currently works with the Cath Lab team and interventional cardiologists to open up blocked heart arteries and respond to emergency STEMI (heart attack) calls. Realizing the importance of personal wellness to her own practice as a nurse, she focuses her motivational speeches and platform 'HeyAmayezing' on reminding nurses, nursing students, and health care professionals about the importance of taking care of one's own mind, body, and spirit to ensure personal wellness. In addition to working in the clinical setting, Maye enjoys sharing her passion for self-care by delivering keynote addresses to nursing school graduates, serving as a panelist for the National Academy of Medicine's Action Collaborative on Clinician Well-Being and Resilience, mentoring Terps and speaking on the University of Maryland's University Career Center & The President's Promise's Careers in Allied Health Panel, developing a new nurse graduate mentorship program within her hospital organization, and presenting on the importance of wellness within the workforce to healthcare organizations.

Inspired by the many Maryland alumni in her family, Morris knew she always wanted to be a Terp. Prior to graduating in 2015 with a degree in Journalism, Morris was involved in her sorority Sigma Delta Tau, was a student board member at Meor, and was a student assistant for the Shirley Povich Center for Sports Journalism.

Kelsey Nicole Nelson is an adjunct media professor and an award-winning sports journalist working with FOX Sports, ESPN, the Washington Football Team, BEDN, MASN and is the founder of "Listen In With KNN" sports talk podcast. Nelson has covered the WNBA Finals, NBA Finals and the Super Bowl interviewing the world's top athletes and entertainers. She is the founder of Books Breaking Borders: Books to End Educational Bankruptcy and the KryptiaNN Consulting Firm. Nelson also volunteers her time with Special Olympics and Fight For Children. In 2016 she received her MPS degree in Sports Industry Management from Georgetown University. Nelson continues to volunteer her time with University of Maryland students from the journalism and business schools as well as speaking on panels for the African American Studies department and Career Center. Nelson is a graduate of the Philip Merrill College of Journalism and the Rawlings Undergraduate Leadership Fellows Program.

Sam Panitch is the co-founder of Elevation Nation and a Senior User Experience Consultant for Ernst & Young's Design Studio. In 2019, Panitch started Elevation Nation to mentor young people, connect them with the world's leading thinkers and help them conquer the real world post-graduation. Tyler Phelps graduated with bachelor's degrees in both finance and economics from the University of Maryland, where he also worked in the athletic department for the football team and operations. Now serving as an antitrust associate at the law firm Weil, Gotshal & Manges, Phelps guides clients through the regulatory approval process for mergers and advises on civil litigation matters. Phelps also performs pro bono work for the Innocence Project, attempting to exonerate individuals who have been wrongly convicted.

She is now an award-winning meteorologist at WFMY in Greensboro, North Carolina with experiences on the frontline covering severe weather events from 2018's Hurricane Florence to 2021's Tropical Storm Fred. Today, Robinson proudly represents her Maryland Pride and shares her epiphany of discovering her passion for weather, while in college, whenever she speaks to students across the country about the weather!

As a former University of Maryland Orientation Advisor and IFC VP of Recruitment, Takudzwa Spandhla is now the founder of a Web Design and Development agency based in Los Angeles, CA. Prior to this role, he supported AFSCME (the nation's largest public labor union) during their pivotal 2018 Supreme Court case - Janus v. AFSCME, the CDC's HPV campaign, and the Atlantic Council's efforts against Russian disinformation prior to the 2016 election. Spandhla's goal is to eventually teach and hire young developers from his home country of Zimbabwe.

Ryan Tommins' time at Maryland was spent attending every Maryland football and basketball game, playing in as many intramurals as he could, and pursuing a degree in finance. Nine years later, Tommins is still largely doing the same – being that he's currently an AVP of M&A Solutions at LPL Financial in charge of leading the company's Sell-Side M&A program, spends time coaching youth sports and mentoring high school and college finance students, and regularly rocks the red, white, black, and gold – and still watches every game. Tommins is passionate about giving back to the community, by sharing his passion for sports, raising money for the Make-A-Wish foundation, and regularly conducting beach clean ups.
