Brenda Frese's Take
"A terrific response by Minnesota. I want to send my regards to Coach Whalen and her return. I thought Carly Thibault did a phenomenal job in her place. They were really ready to play. Really proud of our response. To go on the road, I thought we came out early and then a terrific response by Minnesota. I thought our second half was where it was at. We changed our defense. We were really unselfish when we're sharing the basketball like we were. We just made some great plays. When you look at Chloe's season high and how she played for the team today. I thought it was Ashley's best floor general game across the board, scoring assists, eight assists, no turnovers. Angel in her minutes was very efficient, which is what we have to be able to have. I thought our defense helped go to our offense, being able to force and get a lot of turnovers. A nice, solid road win."
