series history
- Sunday marks the 12th matchup between the Terps and Huskies, with Maryland holding a 9-2 series advantage all-time.
- Maryland has not lost to UConn since the 2017 NCAA Tournament Final in Louisville, KY and holds a 2-1 advantage overall when playing in Storrs, CT.
- The Terps enter Sunday having already solidified the No.2 seed in the Big Ten Championship Tournament. Maryland will face No.7 seeded Ohio State at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 3.

- Maryland fields one of the strongest and most versatile attacking units in the country featuring seven players (Hope Rose, Leah Crouse, Danielle Van Rootselaar, Bibi Donraadt, Emma DeBerdine, Margot Lawn and Riley Donnelly) who currently have five or more goals on the season

Perfection at the plex
- Wednesday's matchup with Virginia concluded Maryland's 2022 home slate
- WIth their 2-0 victory Maryland advanced to a perfect 10-0 record at the Field Hockey and Women's Lacrosse Complex, their first undefeated home record since 2019.
- The Terps have outscored opponents 46-9 across all home games this season, including five games decided by four or more goals.
- The Terps are 211-25 (.893) all-time at the Complex.
- The Field Hockey & Lacrosse Complex has played home to 28 of Maryland's NCAA Tournament games, and played host to three Final Fours (2007, 2010, 2014). The Terrapins are 25-3 in those games and won the 2010 national title on their home field.
35 Years of Missy
- Coach Missy Meharg enters her 35th season at the helm of the Terps, having led her squads to a record of 618-158-9 with a winning percentage of over 79 percent
- The nine-time National Coach of the Year has amassed 19 Final Fours, 12 NCAA title game appearances and seven NCAA Championships over her tenure
- This past season, Meharg became just the third Division I head coach to reach the 600-win mark. Her 605 wins are the most-ever by any Maryland coach in history across all sports
- Meharg has coached 56 All-Americans, 19 Conference Player of the Year recipients and six of her former student-athletes were named National Player of the Year

Best of the Best on the horizon
- The Terps play an impressive 18-game slate, consisting of 10 non-conference games and 8 conference games.
- Maryland will host 10 home games in 2022 including the 22nd annual Terrapin Invitational.
- The Terrapins will once again play one of the most difficult schedules in the nation playing 12 teams ranked in the Penn Monto/NFHCA Division I National Coaches Pre-Season Top 25 including 10 ranked in the Top 15.
