Dougherty Signs Challa As Part of the 2023 Class

COLLEGE PARK, MD - The Maryland tennis program announced the signing of Diya Challa on Thursday, head coach Katie Dougherty announced. The newcomer will be joining the Terrapin roster for the 2023 season.

Before Maryland: 4-Star Recruit ... Top 100 Nationally ... #18 in Mid Atlantic ... #4 in the state of Virginia ... Recruited out of the DMV area.

Head coach Katie Dougherty: "We're excited to have Diya joining us next fall. She has a big game that will translate well into college tennis. Diya is a great student and has been well coached coming out of the Pass Academy. She has a number of weapons that will continue to improve in the coming years and we can't wait to have her be a part of the program."
