College Park, MD -- Emma DeBerdine and Danielle Van Rootselaar were selected as members of the 2022 NCAA  All-Tournament Team, the organization announced Monday.


DeBerdine, a 2022 All-Big Ten First Team selection, earns her first NCAA All-Tournament honor. The Lancaster, Pennsylvania native shined brightest on the biggest stage, recording two goals and one assist across the Terps final two NCAA Tournament contests against Syracuse and Northwestern. DeBerdine, a senior captain, was a key player up and down the field for the Terps recording seven goals and seven assists in 18 games.

Van Rootselaar, also a 2022 All-Big Ten First Team honoree, receives NCAA All-Tournament selection in her first tournament appearance. The Brown University transfer and senior captain was a catalyst for the Terps all season tallying 12 goals and three assists across 23 games. Van Rootselaar was a consistent presence in attack, leading the team with 113 shots on the season.
