Season-Opening Sweep! Terps Roll Past American To Close Out Quad

COLLEGE PARK, MD — Maryland wrestling swept its season-opening quad meet on Saturday, completing the trifecta with a 29-10 win over American University. The Terps also defeated Bloomsburg (37-6) on Saturday morning and Duke (37-0) earlier in the afternoon to secure a 3-0 start to the 2022-23 season.
 
Braxton Brown, Kal Miller, Ethen Miller, Michael North, Dominic Solis, Jaxon Smith and Jaron Smith all opened their seasons 3-0 in their individual bouts.
