
Silberman, McClure Named 2022-23 B1G Gymnasts To Watch

College Park, MD -- Maryland gymnasts Emma Silberman and Reese McClure have been named to the 2022-23 Big Ten Gymnasts to Watch list, the conference announced Wednesday.
Silberman competed in all thirteen meets for the Terps in 2022 including five in the all-around. The New Hope, Pennsylvania native tied her career high 9.8500 on vault six times. She also set a new career high and tied the program record on bars with a 9.950. The senior finished fifth overall in the all-around against Minnesota and Pitt (2/14) and placed seventh in the overall at the Big Five Meet.
McClure competed in eleven meets for the Terps on beam and six meets on floor in 2022. The Frederick, Maryland native matched her career best 9.925 on beam (3/6) and had a career-tying 9.900 on floor at the Towson Tri Meet.
The Terps were selected as the No. 7 program in the Big Ten preseason standings and open their season Friday, Jan. 13 at the West Virginia Tri Meet.
