Sunday afternoon, your Maryland Terrapins were selected to play in the Duke's Mayo Bowl in Charlotte, North Carolina against the NC State Wolfpack. The game will take place on Friday, Dec. 30 at 12 noon. This bowl selection caps an exciting season that saw our team improve to 7-5 – and came tantalizingly close to knocking off Michigan and Ohio State, two of the best teams in the country, both of whom are playing in the College Football Playoff.

XFINITY Center was electric on Friday night as our men's basketball team battled No. 16 Illinois. The Terrapin faithful were treated to some of the best basketball in the country and THE best environment in all of college basketball. In the end, your Terps won 71-66, propelling Coach Willard's squad to an 8-0 start and a No. 13 ranking in the new AP Poll. After a pair of road games against Wisconsin and seventh-ranked Tennessee (at Barclays Center in Brooklyn), the Terps will host No. 19 UCLA on Wednesday, Dec. 14.
