COLLEGE PARK, MD -- The Maryland women's tennis team (10-1) will open Big Ten play against Rutgers (5-6) Saturday afternoon at the JTCC. The match will begin with a round of doubles, followed by a round of singles. Live Stats can be found here. Password: terps
The Terps last defeated ECU 4-0, winning eight consecutive matches and making their win streak the longest in over 20 years.
Sophomore, Minorka Miranda clinched the match for the Terps against the Pirates winning her singles match in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2.
The Scarlet Knights will face the Terrapins coming off a 6-1 loss against Wisconsin.
