COLLEGE PARK, MD -- The Maryland women's tennis team (12-1) will travel to Champaign IL, and Evanston IL, to face Illinois (8-6) and Northwestern (7-5) this weekend. The match against Illinois will take place on Friday at 5:00 p.m. and the match against Northwestern will take place on Sunday at Noon. Both matches will begin with a round of doubles, followed by a round of singles.
The Terps last defeated UPenn 4-3, winning ten consecutive matches, continuing its longest win streak in over 20 years.
Junior, Jojo Bach clinched the match for the Terps against the UPenn Quakers winning her singles match in straight sets, 6-3 3-6, 6-2.
Illinois will face the Terrapins coming off a 2-5 loss against Wisconsin.
Northwestern will face the Terrapins coming off a 1-4 loss against Duke.
