BOWLING GREEN, OH - Libby Ellis, Sports Administrator for the Maryland Gymnastics team, has been named a 2022 Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) Regional Administrator of the Year, as announced on Thursday.

Ellis has been an integral part of the Maryland Gymnastics program, and a major player in the team's success. Ellis played a key part in bringing our annual Red vs Black intrasquad meet onto the main court, giving our gymnasts a true-meet feel early on in the season, while welcoming fans back into the Xfinity Center arena for the first time since 2019. Ellis has attended every home event for the Terps, while also assisting other sports at the same time including men's lacrosse, women's volleyball, softball, women's tennis, and women's golf. Ellis assists with championships on Maryland's campus, and has continued to aid and support the GymTerps during the conclusion of the regular home season, while simultaneously running point on hosting the NCAA Women's Basketball First and Second rounds at the Xfinity Center.
