Nelligan Welcomes New Terp Victoria Gatzendorfer

COLLEGE PARK, MD - Head coach Brett Nelligan announced the addition of sophomore transfer Victoria Gatzendorfer on Friday.
Gatzendorfer competed for the Mizzou Tigers in her freshman season, earning career highs of 9.850 on bars and a 9.875 on beam. Prior to Mizzou, Gatzendrfer was a three-time nationals qualifier, placed third in the all-around and on vault at the 2021 Region 8 Level 10 Championships, and finished third on floor and fourth in the all-around at the same competition in 2018.
The GymTerps finished the 2022 season in record-breaking fashion, posting team scores of 197+ three meets in a row (including the second-highest team score in program history), and earned their highest score at NCAA Regionals out of all previous appearances.
