COLLEGE PARK, Md.  — The Maryland volleyball program received its 2022 Big Ten schedule as the conference announced this fall's schedule on Tuesday.

Maryland begins the twenty-game conference season on the road with Illinois on September 23. The Terps will then return home for four straight opportunities for fans to "Pack the Pav" between September 25 and October 7.

A three-game road swing follows against Rutgers, Northwestern, and Purdue before the Terps return to College Park. Back home, Maryland hosts Penn State and Northwestern on October 21 and 22. 

Another three-game trip follows with trips to Iowa, Nebraska, and Penn State before a Sunday tilt against Iowa set for November 6 in College Park. 

After a trip to face Minnesota and Wisconsin, the Terps host Ohio State, Michigan, and Purdue leading into Thanksgiving. Maryland finally wraps-up the conference season at Indiana. 

Fans will get their first chance to watch live Terps volleyball on August 20 as the program hosts its annual Red-White Scrimmage. The scrimmage is free and open to the public. Time remains to be determined. 

Season tickets will go on sale in late July. 

Last season the Terps earned 19 victories, the most since 2010 for the program. Maryland's undefeated 13-0 start was the team's best beginning since 2005. Their seven Big Ten victories, were the most for the program since 2018.
