
Caleb Dean to Compete at 2022 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships

COLLEGE PARK, MD – After yet another outstanding season, junior Caleb Dean will be headed to Eugene, OR to compete at the 2022 NCAA Track and Field Championships.
Caleb Dean took the outdoor season by storm after a successful indoor campaign which saw Dean break yet another program record - this time in the 60m dash. In his outdoor season, Caleb Dean raced to a second place finish in the 400m hurdles and a fourth place finish in the 4 x 100 relay at Big Ten Championships, and secured a spot at NCAA East Prelims - posting a top twenty time amongst Division I in the 400m hurdles.
Dean then secured his spot at the NCAA Championship meet, as he took first place in his heat during the first round of the 400m hurdles, and later raced to another top time in the quarter finals.
The NCAA Championship meet is set to begin tomorrow night (6/8) in Eugene, OR and can be watched live on ESPNU.
The Men's 400h semifinals will be tomorrow at 9:30 PM, and the finals will be on Friday at 10:27 PM.
