
Record Nineteen Terps Named WCGA Scholastic All-Americans

College Park, MD -- Maryland Gymnastics had 19 student athletes named as Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) Scholastic All-Americans, the organization announced Wednesday. To be recognized for this honor, athletes must have carried a grade-point average of 3.50 or better during the 2021-22 academic year.
Maryland has set a program record for gymnasts represented for the second consecutive year with 15 Terps receiving the honor in 2020-21. As a team, the Gym Terps also posted the highest cumulative GPA out of all 20 sports at Maryland (3.618) in the spring semester. Additionally, the Terps ended the year with a perfect 1000 APR score, the NCAA measurement used for academic progress.
