COLLEGE PARK, MD -- The Terps won their second match-up of the day at the Maryland Invite, besting Navy 3-0 (25-14, 25-20, 25-12).
Maryland coasted in the first set thanks to 12 kills and 10 Navy attack errors.
The second set was much tighter, with the Terps holding a slim 23-19 lead late. A clutch kill by Sam Csire and a Navy service error propelled Maryland to a 25-20 set win.
The Terps jumped to a 14-6 lead in the final set and Navy was never able to threaten.
