College Park, MD -- Each week during the 2022-23 season a Maryland student-athlete, who has shown excellence on and off the playing field, will be selected as the Solomon Eye Physicians & Surgeons Terp of the Week.
 
This week's Solomon Eye Physicians & Surgeons Terp of the Week is Sophomore Hope Rose of Maryland Field Hockey.

Hope Rose, the reigning Big Ten Freshman of the Year, started 2022 with a dominant showing in a 7-1 Terp victory over CAA opponent Drexel. The Dauphin, Pennsylvania native scored six points in a strong two goal, two assist performance. The six points are a new career high for the sophomore.
 
Hope Rose has earned the first Terp of the week honor for the 2022 Fall Season. The Maryland field hockey team will be back in action this weekend as they take on the B1G/ACC Cup. The Terps will face Boston College Friday, Sept. 2 at 6:00 p.m. and Duke Sunday, Sept. 4 at 12:00 p.m.
