
Morris-Adams Named Big Ten Freshman of the Week

College Park, MD -- Maryland field hockey defender Ericka Morris-Adams has been named Big Ten Freshman of the Week, the Conference announced Monday.
Morris-Adams, who receives her first conference honor, was a consistent presence in the defensive unit for the Terrapins that allowed just two goals and six shots across two games this past weekend. This includes holding No.12 Harvard to just one shot on goal for the entire 60 minutes of game action. Overall, the Cheshire, England native has played 316 total minutes for the Terps defense which has allowed just six goals and 15 shots on goal through six games.
Maryland will return to the pitch as they begin Big Ten action on the road against Ohio State. The Terps will play the Buckeyes on Friday, Sept. 16 at 3:00 p.m.
