No. 8 Terps Top Old Dominion 1-0

COLLEGE PARK, MD -- Malcolm Johnston's successful penalty kick late in the first half was all the No. 8 Terps (6-1-2) needed to bring their unbeaten streak to six games in a row with a 1-0 victory over Old Dominion (4-3-2). 

Jamie Lowell was the star of the night, setting a season-high and tying his career-high with six saves to go along with the shutout. It was Lowell's second consecutive clean sheet. 

The Terps out-shot Old Dominion 12-8.

  • Jamie Lowell recorded a quartet of key saves early in the game to keep it scoreless. 
  • With just over a minute remaining in the first half, Nick Richardson was taken down in the box, prompting Johnston's fourth penalty kick goal in as many attempts this season.
