
Cirovski Announces 2023 Men's Soccer Signees

"I am thrilled to welcome these nine young men to our program," Cirovski said "They bring the right combination of skill level and mentality that we look for in all of our players. The attributes they bring will mesh well with the talented group we have returning. I can't wait for Terp fans to see them play at Ludwig Field in the fall!"
More information on these new Terps can be found below. Tyler Prebenda and Saxon Walcott will join the Terps as spring enrollees.

Before Maryland: Played for the D.C. United Academy for coach Matt Arrington and Loudoun United for coach Ryan Martin...Made 14 appearances for Loudoun in the USL Championship, playing 686 minutes...Scored one goal for Loudoun...Played for D.C. United's youth sides prior to signing a development contract with Loudoun, who serves as D.C. United's reserve team.

Head Coach Sasho Cirovski: "Jace is a tenacious defender that is also very comfortable on the ball. Capable of playing as a central defender and outside back, he has the qualities to have an immediate impact as proven by his experience in the USL Championship with Loudon."

Head Coach Sasho Cirovski: "We identified Cameron at our summer camp in 2022 and knew we needed to bring him onto our team. He has a terrific left foot, is agile and has good balance with the ball. This allows him to use his creativity in a variety of attacking positions."

Why Maryland: "There are several reasons why Maryland stuck out to me in my recruiting process. The coaches played a big factor because when talking to them, I learned that they shared similar aspirations for me as a player as I do. They showed great support to me as a player and my dreams during the process and understood my ambitions. They also spread a winning mindset which I appreciate. Maryland has a very successful program that has developed many professional players, and as I want to play professionally, it seems like the perfect fit. The school and campus itself was also beautiful and it just seems like an environment I will thrive in."
Head Coach Sasho Cirovski: "Jack is a deep lying midfielder that has the vision and technical ability to put a lot of his teammates into play with his quick clever short passes and also his long ball distribution. He has a good shot from distance as well but it's his warrior mentality and leadership that stands out when he plays."

Head Coach Sasho Cirovski: "Joe is a versatile defender that can play anywhere across the back line. As an outside back he covers the full field and has a similar warrior mentality like his twin brother Jack. He plays with a great deal of pride and commitment that is inspirational to his teammates and instills confidence to any team he plays on. Both Joe and Jack were pivotal players on a highly successful FC Delco team."

He has been a stalwart player for the highly competitive Baltimore Armour team for years. His competitive attitude and positive energy are evident in his play - on both sides of the ball."

The Crew was going crazy behind the goal. All the players and fans were so passionate for the game. As soon as I got there, I never looked back."
Head Coach Sasho Cirovski: "Luke is a goal scorer. He has a gifted left foot and a high level IQ in the final third. He combines very well in the short passing game and also knows where to find the ball in the box."
