Diamond Miller of the eighth-ranked Maryland women's basketball team is one of 10 top shooting guards in the nation named to the Ann Meyers Drysdale Award Midseason Top 10 Watch List. The Ann Meyers Drysdale Award is presented to the nation's top shooting guard.

This is the second straight season Miller was named to the Ann Meyers Drysdale Watch List.
Miller is leading the Terrapins with 18.6 points and 6.2 rebounds per game. The two-time All-Big Ten honoree has scored in double figures in 20 of 21 games played this season. Miller has led the Terps to four wins over top-25 teams.

Miller is third in the Big Ten and top 30 in the country in scoring. She is eighth in the nation in free throws made (120). Â

Miller has three double-doubles on the year, including at No. 17 Baylor and in a win at No. 7 Notre Dame. She scored a career-high 32 points over Baylor and hit a buzzer-beating jumper to clinch the win over the Irish. Her 18.6 points per contest are the most by a Terrapin since Brionna Jones averaged 19.9 in 2016-17.

The Selection Committee for the Ann Meyers Drysdale Award is composed of top women's college basketball personnel including media members, head coaches, sports information directors and Hall of Famers.

The winner of the 2023 Meyers Drysdale Award will be presented on a to be determined date, along with the four other members of the Women's Starting Five. Additional awards being presented include the Nancy Lieberman Award (Point Guard), Cheryl Miller Award (Small Forward), the Katrina McClain Award (Power Forward) and the Lisa Leslie Award (Center), in addition to the Men's Starting Five.
