No. 8 Terps Defeat No. 16 Penn State, 4-2, In Big Ten Home Opener

COLLEGE PARK, MD -- In a Sunday afternoon game that saw the first unveiling of the new video board at the Field Hockey and Women's Lacrosse Complex, the No. 8 Terps cruised past No. 16 Penn State, 4-2, in their Big Ten Home Opener.
Freshman Maci Bradford scored just over three minutes into the game and Maryland never looked back from there, opeing up a 4-0 lead in the third quarter. Maryland got a goal from Hope Rose as well as Josie Hollamon's first-ever two-goal performance.
Keeper Alyssa Klebasko made four saves. The Terps (8-3, 1-1) outshot the Nittany Lions (5-5, 0-2) by a margin of 18-13.
Today's game aired on Big Ten Network.
