COLLEGE PARK, MD -- The No. 9 Terps put together a complete performance on Friday evening at the Field Hockey and Women's Lacrosse Complex, securing advantages on both sides of the ball in a 3-0 shutout win over Michigan State.

Margot Lawn got the scoring started and the Terps led 1-0 heading into halftime. Hope Rose scored her team-high 11th goal to make it 2-0 through three quarters. Lawn added her second goal of the night in the third quarter.

Freshman Alyssa Klebasko was fantastic at keeper all evening, putting together a shutout with five saves.

The Terps outshot the Spartans 25-11 and held a 8-4 advantage in penalty corners.

Breaking Down The Action

Josie Hollaman notched the assist on Lawn's first goal of the day, putting the Terps up 1-0 just 5:30 into the game.
Near the end of the third quarter, Rose received the ball in front of the goal and used some nifty moves to spin around the keeper and put it through to double the lead.

Lawn added her second of the just over seven minutes later, with an assist from Hannah Boss.

1: Lawn's two-goal performance was the first multi-goal game of her career.
