LEHIGH, PA - The Maryland cross country team wrapped up an impressive showing at NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals, finishing in 8th place, marking the Terps' best finish at the meet since 2003. 3 runners finished in the top-50 out of nearly 200 runners in one of the most competitive regions in the country.Â

Junior
Katie Altieri was the first Terp to cross the finish line in 37th place with a time of 20:56.8. She was closely followed by
Anna Coffin, who also ran sub-21 minutes finishing in 39th place.

Freshman
Rose Coats was the third Maryland runner across the line in 47th place, while
Katie Turk also ran strongly finishing inside the top-60 in 59th place.
Sophia Zell was the fifth and final scorer for Maryland while
Hannah Mack and
Amanda Eliker also competed for the Terps.Â

Every individual finished off the season with their best 6k time to date in this final competition.Â
